~~*In Memory of the Egg-Girl*~~

Well, this past May, we lost our Egg-Girl. It was exactly a month before her 7th birthday and I'm feeling it a lot right now because this was always her favorite time of the year. As I wrote about her before, she loved the lights. She'd be hypnotized by them and I'm convinced she thought that they were little 'babies' that she could take care of! lol
We have a new little one who is having his first Christmas ever with us. We got Spike shortly after we lost Egg when he was only a few weeks old. So not only is it his first Christmas with us, but it's his first Christmas!
He's so far unimpressed by the lights. lol He likes them and gets mad when they get turned off, but he basically just goes along with his routine like nothing new is going on. He was so funny watching me put them up yesterday...kind of looking at me like, "what the hell is this now?" LOL
He's a cutie and we're glad he's with us. The Egg of course will live on in our hearts and since this board and the Christmas site (as well as another website) were named after her, she'll continue to be remembered.
In the meantime, Spike says 'hello' to everyone and wants to know when he can start eating my shirt again.
